Laila is a girl that the grooms flock to because her parents announced that she has reached the official age of marriage according to their society rules. She lives with her marginalized mother like the rest of the women of this society, her authoritarian father who's the only decision-maker and her spinster aunt who's one of the victims of the same society rules in this eastern fake world, at which no woman appears in streets without a man and cannot be seen by anyone unless they are relatives from the first degree. Her parents offered her to be selected by grooms after she show her face off to each of them and she is totally choiceless about her life partner. To find herself acting rebelliously someday making her sick father furious till he falls unconscious. So, she has to face the people in the streets by herself for the first time to get her father medicine, but she forgot her veil.
