After coming back from school, Simon a 16-year-old boy finds himself trapped in his bedroom with his older Brother Derek because his parents are screaming at each other in the living
room. As the parent’s fight quickly escalates from petty topics like misplaced documents to cutthroat insults about each other jobs, Simon and Derek desperately try to create normalcy in their room. Both these brothers try to fill in the emptiness by asking each other mundane things like “What happened at school?” or “How did you stub your toe?”. But no matter how much they try to avoid being affected by their parent’s fight, they fall prey to the cycle of hatred. On one hand, their mother reveals their father's infidelity while on the other Derek is beating up Simon mercilessly for stealing his porn mags. The brothers’ fight results in them expressing pent-up emotions to each other only in a way brothers can.
