Marina is the captain of the soccer team where she plays but has never felt part of it. She is always spending time with her best friend, Paula, and their interests detached them from the rest of the girls. Paula doesn't mind; she is happy being herself as she is and doesn’t want to change that.
But Marina is increasingly curious about teenage life: love, sex, growing up... The night before the playoffs, she will be involved in new experiences that will help her integrate but that could also grow her apart from Paula. Is she becoming herself or is she just changing to fit in?
