Strawman tells the story of an innominate sailor, sailing everyday to a strange and obscure Island. What unfolds is his obsession with constructing peculiar masks, in search of answers of the divine nature, along with the strangeness that he carries within.
The film explores the concept of personal identity through the means of Faith and folk ritualistic practices.
